Labor Equipamentos Rodoviários' Multi-Service Health Cart is now serving the population of Santa Rita, in Paraíba state.
The Health Caravan had its official delivery with the presence of politicians from Santa Rita, besides Labor's Plant Manager, Leandro Cruz. Mayor Emerson Panta, Health Secretary Rafael Gomes Monteiro and State Representative Dr. Jane Panta attended the event.
With Labor's mobile health unit, the city will now offer services in several medical specialties (Gynecology, Ultrasound, General Practice, Blood Collection), as well as Dentistry. The capacity is to assist up to 3 thousand people per month, free of charge for the city's population.
This mobile unit has practically all the infrastructure of an office or hospital to provide care to the needy population, especially in the more distant rural areas. The Health Caravan has rooms sized according to the RDC 50 ANVISA standard, with dimensions and safe service flow, besides the specific furniture, power points, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and security cameras.
With impressive dimensions for a Mobile Health Unit (15.6 meters long and 4.35 meters high, with capacity for up to 17 tons), the vehicle has thermal and acoustic lining, a platform for PCD (Person with Disabilities), a side walkway to access the consulting rooms, and an external awning.
