Taking medical care beyond the hospital or clinic, this is one of the objectives of the mobile health unit. And even more with the Health Trailer manufactured by Labor Equipamentos Rodoviários, one of the mobile units that has become popular to attend public health and occupational medicine programs in loco for companies.
Health Trailer - Labor manufactures transformed Health Wagons from its Double Deck semi-trailer models with two floors and 15 meters long, that is, with enough space for multiple specializations (Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Telemedicine, Gynecology, Blood Collection, Vaccination, etc.). They are modern and functional large-sized mobile health units, already successfully used by large companies and entities such as Mercedes-Benz, Instituto Deuseny Santos, and SAS Brasil of the Rally of the Hinterlands.
The free health care project #UnindoForças by Mercedes-Benz, for example, in its first year of operation alone carried out more than 374,000 medical consultations, exams and minor surgeries in the eight carts pulled by trucks. In total, about 170,000 people were assisted in the mobile health and vaccination units in approximately 30,000 kilometers traveled through 60 cities in several regions of the country.
One of the carts manufactured by Labor in this project, a partnership between Mercedes-Benz, entities, Brazilian companies, and the German government, is the Carreta da Saúde, of the Light for Life Ophthalmology Institute. The mobile unit offers consultations, procedures and exams for the evaluation of Ametropias, cataracts, retina and cornea pathologies, glaucoma, lacrimal ducts propaedeutics, besides eye plastic surgery.
A Health Cart has been quite requested in the market for its differentials, such as quick assembly in up to 20 minutes. To have an idea, a conventional cart for this type of application takes up to 4 hours to be assembled.
With 15 meters long and 2.90 meters high ceiling, the Carreta da Saúde Labor is transformed from a high Monoblock trailer without axle. It is a mobile health unit solution to serve cities and needy communities with itinerant medical and dental services.
This modern mobile unit has four consulting rooms (Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Telemedicine, Gynecology), besides two bathrooms and an area for storage of items used in the operation. Highlight to the innovative bottom space increased for the transport of parts, materials and inputs used in the operation (water tanks, dental compressor, condenser, generator group, and others).
Another great itinerant health project developed by Labor Equipamentos Rodoviários is the Carreta Saúde na Estrada da Ipiranga. It is the largest mobile unit in Brazil and Latin America, with two floors distributed in approximately 110 m².
The highlight is the access area of the lower floor of the Health on the Road Cart, about 20 cm off the ground, dispensing with the use of an external ladder. It has side openings and can reach up to three floors - according to the project.
The Health Caravan on the Road has an exclusive room for vaccination, with a chamber for the conservation and manipulation of vaccines, a 16-seat training area with audio and video systems for qualification courses, and a ZEN space with automatic massage chairs.
Mobile Health Unit Double Deck semi-trailer, only Labor has it! Carreta da Saúde is one more solution in Labor's road equipment.
